- Choose fibers. Fruits and vegetables are a good source of fiber. You can also choose coarse bread and whole grain rice to further increase fiber intake.
- Remember fish. Fish is useful for several reasons, it is often low in fat and contains useful fatty acids. In addition, fish are often a better climate choice than meat.
- Divide the food on the plate into three parts, two large and one small. One of the large ones consists of vegetables, root vegetables, and fruits, the other of potatoes, rice, pasta, and bread. The smallest part is intended for meat, fish, eggs, or legumes such as beans and peas.
